My mother, her two living brothers, all loved to drink.. I don't think anyone of them was ever in a rehab center but I do know one of them when he was confronted with a choice, chose his wife and started attending AA religiously. My mother chose to stop if she wanted to be around her grandchildren, and one remaining uncle drank until he died. He sat home and drank alone, most of the day while his wife worked. It caused a rift so big in his marriage prior to that one, that they divorced and he ended up marrying his mistress. My brother, was arrested, along with his wife, and he watched his marriage of many many years go down the drain, along with a job of 26 years that he was planning on retiring in 4 years from. We all have choices to make in life.. I pray that Robby will make the same that you have.. Also, with his karate classes, he will get the training of self control... The guilt that you may be feeling is a natural part of the self actualization of the grief process. I fully believe that dreams are a way for our subconscious to bring emotional trauma to the light of day.

When you dealing with here is one of the greatest mysteries of life; and that is death. All the worlds religions have been created to try and answer what happens to our consciousness after the body ceases to be. No one has ever proven what happens to us. So the human mind has built faith. What I do know from the sounds of your blog you are an extremely healthy person and you do well. Does the grief ever end? Not really, my own father died when I was but 21 and I still mourning his loss but that’s part of our life.
