Robby had a great time at his performance. I am admittedly biased but I think he did a fabulous job. His confidence has grown by leaps and bounds when he takes the stage. Just a few years ago he was nearly petrified with fear before his first show. This weekend he strode onto the stage like a seasoned pro, happy and ready to rock out with his friends.
The performance was the highlight of our venturing into the community over the past few days. With the exception of going to the show, we stayed home and worked and played around the house and yard. The weather was absolutely gorgeous on Sunday and yesterday, delighting both Timmy and Friend. The pair spent hours running through the yard, chasing a ball and exploring through the woods.
Today the boys return to school/work (again). After a long weekend, I fully anticipate the obligatory groaning and complaints. Hopefully they will all keep their internal dialog private. Starting the morning hearing the lamenting is a miserable way to kick off the week.
