Santa came!
This is my favorite part of the holiday. The house is quiet and everyone is asleep (with the exception of myself and Friend.) The presents are surrounding the tree, the reflections from her colorful twinkling lights are dancing on the wrapping paper covering the treasures below. I'm quietly sipping my coffee, waiting for the tranquility to be replaced by a tornado of chaos.
I did want to take a moment out of my favorite part of Christmas to thank everybody for standing by me this year. It has been a horrific year, and I'm glad it is coming to a close. Writing is good for me, so I am going to be returning to my original schedule in the new year.
